NTU is a great place to work. We take care of our staff with flexible packages, career progression and opportunities. We value all our staff because we know that it takes a strong and diverse workforce to maintain the kind of success we have achieved.

Our award-winning research attracts international acclaim and we are proud of our strategic partnerships. This is all down to the ability of our people to shape, create and innovate, wherever they work with us.

2017 has been a year full of prizes, publicity and recognition for the NTU community, culminating in our receipt of the prestigious University of the Year award. Along the way, we’ve recorded some of the highest student satisfaction levels in the country in the 2017 National Student Survey, and achieved the TEF gold standard for the quality of our teaching. We are also extremely proud to have been named Modern University of the Year in the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018.

Our rise up the league tables, alongside a number of prestigious national awards, demonstrate the potential that creating and forging excellent partnerships while harnessing the talents of all our people, can bring. Join us in our mission to become a university of the future and take your career to the next level too

As a Strategic Change Manager, you will join at the beginning of the formation of a new team with ambition and fresh ideas. You will use your experience to shape and influence the team, making a real impact on the way we work within a genuinely innovative, people-centred and value based culture.

You will support and influence the University’s leadership team as it develops and refines a more consistent approach to making transformational change more effective. Comfortable working with senior stakeholders, you will use your extensive knowledge and experience to guide the organisation towards an innovative, tailored approach to transformation.

You will manage, refine and embed governance processes for the transformational activities required to implement our strategy and have the opportunity to work on some of the University’ largest and most ambitious projects.

You will possess excellent communication, influencing and organisational skills, as well as an ability to prioritise your own workload and be effective in a fast-paced change environment.

A demonstrable working knowledge of formal project management approaches and frameworks (e.g. Prince 2) is expected. We are seeking a proactive individual, ideally extensive experience of introducing consistent portfolio, programme and project management approaches.
