Senior Residential Support Worker
You will join a small, established residential care home based in the Sutton Coldfield region. This exciting opportunity offers you the opportunity to join a developing and expanding provider who prides themselves on staff retention and development, but most importantly, has not lost the passion and drive to make a difference to the lives of the young people they support.
You will join this organisation in a senior residential support worker capacity and take a key role in leadership for this service. You will ensure the care and welfare of each child and provide guidance and support to all RSWs. You will be responsible for staff supervisions, leading shifts, ensuring placement plans are followed, policies, procedures, risk assessments and rotas. You will also play a key role in promoting education, social inclusion and independent living skills.
You will be required to work a varied shift pattern to include sleep in cover. To meet the needs of the service you must have flexibility to also work some weekends and evenings on a rota basis.

You will demonstrate a competent understanding of the children`s residential care sector and be able to demonstrate excellent team leading skills. To apply for the senior RSW role, you will be qualified to QCF level 3 in health and social care (children and young people) and due to nature of this role, you must be 22 years and above and hold a full UK driving licence.
This exciting role is offering a salary up to £25000 per annum dependent on experience. You will also be entitled to a competitive sleep in allowance. You will also receive continued, focused training and development and genuine career progression opportunities.
