Part Time Senior Care Worker

Working for a small homecare company based in Harrow, you will be recruited as a care supervisor on a part time, 20 hours per week basis. Currently working with 7 clients, this small homecare organisation is ready to bring in someone talented who can work as a supervisor/team leader.

Day to day, your job will include a wide range of duties ranging from providing care when required to rota management, help with supervisions, writing care plans and other operational duties within the office. You will essentially be the Registered Manager`s right hand and coming into the organisation at this early stage, you will be able to have your voice heard and suggestions taken into account with all decision making requirements.

The residents you support generally require outreach support on a 1 to 1 basis with minimal personal care. They require support with a range of needs such as during day centre activities, shopping, school and similar.

As someone who is flexible, hard working, and highly knowledgeable, you will be the ideal fit for this role.

In addition to these requirements, you will need to have a minimum NVQ/QCF Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care, a drivers licence (a car will be provided for you), and previous supervisory experience. Your clients will speak a range of South Asian languages and as such, the ability to speak Hindi, Gujarati or other similar languages will be a huge plus.

In return for your hardwork, you will be offered a pay rate of £11 per hour and a benefits package which will be formed together with you. You will also have the option to go full time down the line should you wish to.
