Finance Business Partner

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner on a 6 months contract working 21 hours per week, salary is £28k pa). This role requires supporting the head of Finance to provide a quality and timely service in respect of financial reporting and to support decision making, planning and budget control.

You will be working for a well established organisation in York, establishing and managing relationships to understand the financial information needs and be the first point of contact for for providing technical and financial advice.

You will assist in the management of budgets, help prepare business cases be able to take a lead whilst working in an accurate and timely manner.

Other duties include:-

• Developing reporting systems
• Developing training
• Preparing annual statements
• Providing benchmarking data for cost databases
• Monitoring the loan convenants
• Supporting the team

Are you customer focussed with the ability to work on your own initiative? Do you have experience in setting, controlling and managing budgets? Are you able to communicate strongly with excellent written and verbal communication skills? Are you full or part qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA?
