We are part of the German Baumot Group, who is one of the world wide leading suppliers of exhaust aftertreatment products and engine enhancement. The Baumot Group provides its customers with an extensive range of exhaust after-treatment systems, at OEM quality standards, for retrofitting into buses, coaches, commercial vehicles, taxis, off-road vehicles as well as miscellaneous applications such as marine.


We are currently searching for a


Technical Helpdesk Employee


Position: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Silverstone

Working Hours: 40 hrs

Package: Generous

Task Area i.a.:

  • Error recording, first analysis and clearing of software or hardware problems
  • Documentation of error messages and solutions in a trouble ticket system
  • Receiving Calls from customers and helping them to find a solution if there is a problem
  • Fill out diagnostic/warranty check forms
  • Communication with other departments to improve Complaint-/Error Rate

Need to have Hard Skills and Experience:

  • Service-oriented customer behaviour
  • Extraordinary Friendliness
  • Basic Knowledge of Vehicle Technology
  • Experience in working with a trouble ticket system and in a call center
  • Willingness to work in different shifts
  • Analytical and structured thinking as well as multitasking skills
  • Quick way of Learning
  • Successfully completed a degree in IT or a similar education with relevant work experience.
  • must have worked in the technical helpdesk area for more than 12 months

You must be a team player, self-reliant and responsible, with a ‘can-do’ approach to getting the job done on time and right first time.
