Reporting to the Strategic Director Development, this post will lead the development and implementation of key strategies. Our residents are at the heart of everything we do and we are committed to providing a minimum of 2,500 homes per year across Manchester, of which a significant proportion should deliver the Council's plan for affordable homes.

Your innovative approach to people policies and processes will help us to achieve our aims enabling our organisation to thrive and create a range of good quality homes and effective services that meet the diverse needs of our communities.

You will lead and manage service planning and delivery for the Housing and Residential Growth Services, ensuring that the plans are specific, measurable, achievable and time bound to align with the Our Manchester Strategy.

Working with the Head of Homelessness to ensure the city has the right supply of housing to prevent and reduce homelessness and be responsible for the capital spend in relation to housing related capital programmes (HRA, Retained Housing, and Private Sector Housing).
