Based in the city centre of Exeter, this leading Debt Management company is looking to bolster its team due to an exciting period of business growth, having moved into new, larger office space at the end of last year due to the continued success of the company.

The well-stablished company is fully regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and has a core goal of providing exceptional advice to customers when it comes to debt related issues - with the aim to bring their financial matters back into their control. Providing effective, pragmatic solutions aligned to guidance provided by the Money Advice Service, they set out to quash financial uncertainty for their clients by understanding their personal circumstances and advising them on possible and appropriate solutions to meet their individual needs.

The Opportunity:

They are looking for a compassionate, customer focused individual to join their team on a full-time basis. Working in a flexible and relaxed environment, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert advice concerning debt solutions and establish the best course of action for a portfolio of customers in accordance with the regulations provided by the Financial Conduct Authority. Working in a regulated environment, you will be responsible for supervising customer accounts by providing exceptional customer service, credit control and assessment of their personal situation resulting in debt advice tailored to their needs.

By ensuring continued compliance to the regulatory frameworks and fully understanding the company's policies relating to service provision you will provide expert debt advice to clients, regularly reviewing their cases and ensuring that advice is relevant, up to date and specific to their individual financial needs.

About You:

To be considered for this opportunity, ideally you will possess demonstrable experience of working within a regulated industry i. financial services (e. personal loans, banking, credit cards) as a minimum and have an understanding of underlying financial principles. It would be hugely advantageous if you possess a Money Advice Service (MAS) accredited qualification in providing advice on debt related issues. You will be educated to a good standard (GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English as a minimum) and have experience of working with Microsoft applications.

Delivering exceptional customer service must come naturally to you, in addition to acting with the highest levels of compassion and a positive approach when dealing with difficult situations. In terms of your personality, you will need to be self-motivated, can think outside of the box and work to your own initiative and able to work effectively to deadlines with good organisation skills. Resilience is fundamental to be successful in this environment, in addition to consistency to work in a compliant fashion in line with the regulations of the Financial Conduct Authority.
