Job Role:
The Company is seeking a highly motivated, achievement driven Senior Business Development Manager - EMEA. This sales role is responsible for net new sales and contracts; the indirect channel includes major client accounts and carries a sales quota. The purpose, to develop business and generate revenue as well as a broader and deeper infiltration of the Company as a brand across the industry.
You will be an organised, self-motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit. You will be enthusiastic, assertive, high energy, professional and capable of navigating enterprise level complex sales processes from prospect to close, utilising a value selling and consultative approach.
The mission includes building a two-way ecosystem of content, intelligence and services that drive annual recurring revenue through key strategic partnerships and you will be measured on your ability to close and expand the Company's clientele.
Responsibilities
- Develop targeted, strategic Financial Services, Insurance and Assistance Sales Plan
- Generate new sales to ensure revenue and profit targets are achieved against agreed sales plan, quota and company objectives
- Prospect to clients and potential clients in order to achieve revenue and profit objectives
- Identify and develop business relationships with key POC's within the Financial Services segment as well as Brokers, Consultants, Insurance Carriers, Security and Medical Assistance Providers
- Attend and Represent local, national and international workshops and symposiums to drive awareness and generate new revenue opportunities
- Network within allocated industry sectors to increase awareness of the Company and services available
- Identify buying influencers, decision markets and develop contacts within target organisations
- Ascertain prospect's "needs" and outline consultative solutions
- Leverage key best practices to drive and successfully sell new business opportunities
- Identify key decision makers, develop strategic relationships, and collaborate and quickly build relationships with key stakeholders (internal resources and external network) to prioritise and infiltrate key accounts to drive new business
- Primary focus will be net new logos (i. net new client accounts)
- Consult with C-level executives to understand business needs and develop an effective, enterprise-wide strategy utilising the Company's solutions
- Formulate and articulate the positive financial impact of the Company to customers
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Company and the Duty of Care, Risk Intelligence and Travel Risk Management market
- Develop and conduct effective presentations with both contract decision makers (C-level) and at the user level
- Be proficient in time management, account planning and territory management
- Provide accurate and timely revenue forecast and pipeline management as determined by the SVP, Sales
- Compliance in using internal sales enablement tools and management processes
- Cohesively work with fellow Sales team members in ensuring the overall success of the Sales team
- Consistently achieve behaviour based KPI's as determined by the SVP, Sales
- Travel is required (> 50%)
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience, desired
- Minimum of 5+ years Field Sales experience in a B2B enterprise level environment (on-site / face-to-face client selling)
- Proven experience with consultative selling in the technology industry (i. software and services - cloud based preferred), with hands on experience of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to close
- Knowledge of the Financial Services, Insurance and Assistance Markets is required
- Travel Industry experience a plus
- Prior sales experience in travel risk intelligence for the travel, health and finance / insurance sectors
- Experience positioning to executive level management, involving multiple decision makers
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and exhibits a "can do" attitude
- Ability to understand and calculate figures at a level that reflects a good understanding of financial principals
- A strong level of professionalism, business acumen, and written and verbal communications skills

- You will have the ability to juggle multiple projects in parallel, often with changing requirements and priorities
- Confident presenter with ability to present in a professional articulate manner
- Occasionally available for various time zones
