Housingrecruit.com is advertising for a New Business Assistant / Trainee on behalf of our client, a leading social housing provider based in Tunbridge Wells.

The Role:
Our client will invest in you and your career development providing you with the experience you need to become a New Business Officer. Based in the New Business Department, you will support the New Business team, whilst gaining practical experience in the role. You will be given responsibility for a range of activities from assisting in managing housing development projects, including land sourcing and acquisition, through planning to handover to the internal delivery/construction team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 5 GCSE passes at grade ‘C’ or above (or equivalent) including English and Maths
- Knowledge and experience of using IT packages including MS Excel and Word
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- An interest in housing and development
- Demonstrable experience of being able to work to schedules and timescales
- Demonstrable experience of being able to plan and manage own workload
