Housingrecruit.com is currently advertising for a Waking Night Support Worker on behalf of our client, a leading social housing provider based in Nuneaton.

They are looking for Waking Night Support Workers to be based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. They are looking for people who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring for people. You will have sufficient experience of providing support to individuals within a care environment, or be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the key issues in providing support to individuals with learning disabilities
You will be providing personal care to residents, and in addition Waking Night Support Workers have additional responsibilities for ensuring that the home is clean and presentable and complies with environmental health standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining clear and accurate written records.
Can you show how you would treat service users, for whom the home is their home, with the dignity and respect they have a right to expect?
Our client is looking for an organised and flexible individual to provide waking night time support ensuring the safety and well-being of adults with learning disabilities. You will be required to support each person in line with their personal needs and to ensure their comfort and wellbeing.
Please note that all successful applicants are required to take a literacy and numeracy test prior to, or on the day of the interview.
