Purchase Ledger - Maternity Cover

A brand new position has become available for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an established organisation based in South Liverpool. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for managing the end to end function including processing invoices, reconciliations and processing supplier payments.

This role is initially being recruited until 30th September 2018, however there is the possibility for extension depending on the business needs. This is an excellent standalone opportunity to take full responsibility for maintaining a busy purchase ledger.

The Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for:

• Match, batch and coding purchase invoices
• Inputting and processing purchase invoices onto Sage 200
• Processing credit notes
• Bank reconciliations
• Handling supplier queries in timely and professional manner
• Preparing and submitting supplier payments

Essential Requirements are:

• Strong purchase ledger experience
• Good attention to detail
• Sage 200 experience is desirable
• Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative
