The Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) is looking for Executive Officers and Administrative Officers to join our growing teams.

OPG supports the work if the Public Guardian for England and Wales. We register lasting powers of attorney, supervise the work of deputies, appointed by the Court of Protection and protect people who lack the mental capacity to make decisions for themselves. 

Our executive and General Case Managers are an essential part of the team who provide support for our customers by supervising the decision making of deputies, managing cases in accordance with the Mental Capacity Act, and supporting customers over the telephone with queries. 

Our Customer Service Advisors are an essential part of the team who provide support for our customers by answering telephone calls in out Customer Contact Centre and completing casework for customers registering Lasting Powers of Attorney applications. 

We are looking for enthusiastic applicants with strong customer service skills who are comfortable working with the telephone, people and financial information. 

We are hosting a number of Open Evenings to provide prospective applicants with an overview of the work of the OPG and various roles., including a range of apprenticeship programmes,

You will have an opportunity to meet existing staff, who will share their knowledge and experiences of the roles.

Starting salary for an Executive Officer is £20,448 (Executive Case Manager Roles)

Starting salary for an Administrative Officer is £18,240 (General Case Manager and Customer Service Advisor Roles)

Our Recruitment Open Evenings will be held at our Nottingham office. Parking will only be available for blue badge holders.
