We are looking for a well organised and experienced office manager to join our team of fisheries scientists and engineers at Fishtek Consulting in Dartington, Devon. The post is for up to 12 months (then subject to review).  Experience in bookkeeping essential and ideally a working knowledge of SAGE. 

  • Office Management
  • All round bookkeeping/accounting
  • Contract management, invoicing, and credit control
  • Management of supplier invoices
  • VAT
  • Payroll and HR administration
  • Expenses

Key skills and attributes

  • Working Knowledge of Sage or similar accounting package
  • Attention to detail
  • Previous experience working for a small business
  • Professional, polite, and approachable manner
  • Ability to manage new challenges with a proactive attitude
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently but also as a team player
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads

Required experience:

  • Bookkeeping: 2 years
  • Office Management: 2 years
