10451 - Credit Controller (Recruitment Finance) Job Spec
Location: Leicester
Our Client, an established Leicester based company, is looking to recruit a Credit Controller to work in their Recruitment Finance team on a full-time permanent basis. The position has become available due to a recent promotion. The successful candidate will be providing collections support to the Recruitment Finance department, coordinating & facilitating the timely collection of debt from clients.
Working with Paul Mitchell Associates, our Client has requested that the name of the company be kept CONFIDENTIAL, which will only be disclosed upon submission of your CV.
Responsibilities:
*Provide a high level of customer service (internally & externally) whilst maintaining security,
*Maintain a professional & efficient relationship with your allocated portfolio of Clients,
*Proactively seek to understand the needs of Clients, and flag up both warning signs & opportunities,
*Identify & generate new business opportunities,
*Any other ad-hoc duties related to the role.
Reporting to: Recruitment Finance Manager
Key Skills:
*Communication skills: maintain a high level professional conduct with internal & external customers via face-to-face, the phone, email & in written communication,
*Provide excellent customer service,
*Manage credit control of debtor list,
*Relationship building: maintaining a professional & 'expert' relationship with debtors through efficient credit control,
*Good listening skills and understand how & when to action information,
*Attention to detail,
*Ability to say 'no',
*Demonstrates good numeracy,
*IT Skills: intermediate PC knowledge, good keyboard skills & a competent user of Microsoft Office.
Experience / Requirements of the Role
*Credit Control experience in a commercial environment,
*Skills: excellent communication, customer service experience with good attention to detail & grasp of IT skills,
*Qualifications: NVQ, customer service / administration.
***Previous experience in Credit Control is ESSENTIAL***
Experience in Recruitment Finance PREFERRED
Package:
*Salary: £16,000 to £21,000 per annum (subject to experience)
*Hours: Full-time, 35hrs Mon-Fri 9:00am to 5:00pm (1hr lunch)
*Holiday: 33 days (25 + STAT)
