Multi Drop Driver

Courier Logistics have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multi Drop Driver to join our growing team based at our Bradford depot covering multi drop deliveries and collections in the HG postcode area. Working a full time, permanent basis, the successful Multi Drop Driver will receive a competitive salary of £8.30 per hour.

Multi Drop Driver Objectives

- To deliver and collect consignments in a safe and secure manner in line with APC and Pallet track policies and procedures

- To maintain safe working practices at all times

- To maintain security of all APC/Pallet Track freight at all times

- To present at all times a smart and professional attitude to customers

Your duties as a Multi Drop Driver would include:

Vehicle

- Cleanliness and Maintenance of vehicle

- Completion of daily vehicle checks and reporting of any damage or faults on the vehicle

- Security of vehicle, the vehicle must be locked at all times when unattended

- Immediate reporting of any accidents or incidents

- Safe and effective driving manner

Performance

- Collections and deliveries to be completed in a secure, full and timely manner. Scanning devices to be used at all times and scanning device faults to be reported immediately

- Driver speeding/compliance

- Physical appearance to be in line with company guidelines

- Vehicle security, condition and checks

- Couriers Logistics policies and procedures to be adhered to at all times

- All relevant paperwork to be checked and completed correctly

Health and Safety

- Snap Shot Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of work to be undertaken at all times. Any items that are overweight or oversize to be reported to the Shift Manager

- Safe transportation of goods

- Reporting of breakages and spillages

- Reporting of Health and Safety hazards or issues

Our ideal Multi Drop Driver:

- Previous multi drop experience is essential

- Flexibility is required to support the needs of the business

- Good knowledge of the HG postcode is an advantage

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 06.30-17.30 with Saturday mornings worked on a rota basis
