Selwyn College’s busy kitchen needs a highly talented Chef, qualified to NVQ Level 2, with a creative flair, a passion for food, and a high standard of culinary skills and food presentation. With excellent organisational, communication, time management and planning skills, you will also have the ability to lead and motivate your team, and the flexibility to adopt a hands-on approach in a demanding team environment.

Hours of Work: 75 hours every fortnight
Salary: £24,250 per annum
In the absence of the Senior Chef, you will assist in supervising our kitchen staff, briefing them on food presentation, allergens and portion control, while ensuring that our high standards of hygiene and health and safety practices are maintained. We are proud of our 5 Star hygiene rating and our reputation for high catering standards. You will join a friendly and professional team, who not only cater for our students, staff, Fellows, and guests, but also for formal dinners, special functions and our expanding conference business.
