Site Director

Our client, a leading food group, is recruiting a Site Director. Reporting to the Divisional MD, you will manage the leadership team of a major manufacturing site, take responsibility for setting strategic objectives and driving performance to exceed customer expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the business, with full responsibility for P&L, capex and all functions on site to achieve strategic goals in line with group expectation
• Shaping and delivering site operations objectives whilst influencing at a divisional level, ensuring site manufacturing improvement and operational excellence
• Working collaboratively with customers and the commercial team to effectively manage and develop current and future business plans
• Implementing and developing a continuous improvement mindset, accountability and communication across the site and a clear focus on delivery of core activities

To apply, you must be a highly motivated, strong hands-on leader with experience of managing a multi-functional team in the food sector. You will have shaped and implemented strategy, taken full responsibility for financial performance and motivated management teams and staff to achieve operational excellence. You will have strong negotiating and influencing skills, the ability to communicate clearly with a wide audience, and experience of nurturing key customer relationships.
