Are you excited by managing all of Black Library’s production team and production processes to deliver a continuously evolving and improving release plan across all product types and formats? Are you excited by the challenge of working with the production team to continuously review and improve all elements of Black Library production? Are you able to build effective and productive working relationships with key parts of the Games Workshop business to ensure that Black Library is always working with the very best suppliers?  Are you able to set the highest quality standards and ensure that they are delivered with every product, no matter what? You will be directly responsible for producing ALL Black Library books in both physical and digital formats – whilst this is predominantly books, Black Library all produce audio books, audio dramas and merchandise. In doing this you will be managing; Digital Book Design, Graphic Design, Audio Production and Engineering, Typesetting, French and German Translation, Scheduling, Stock Co-ordination and Editorial Support. This role will require you to work collaboratively with many parts of the Games Workshop business in order to get books made and then ensure that they end up in the right place to be sold. Please note that in the context of this role, producing means making not creating. Black Library has an editorial team that takes care of all story creation.

This is a big job with a lot of managerial responsibility. We know what makes this job hard is always holding the line on quality no matter what time pressures and commercial pressures are thrown at you and your team.
