This is a brilliant opportunity to join a business that is well know, fast growing and over the last 2 years has become a household name. They have fantastic head offices based in Leeds City Centre, and due to maternity leave, they are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to provide support to a busy and fast paced finance team.

The role is a 12 month fixed term contract and will report directly to the Senior Accountant As a member of a small team this will be a varied role and is a great opportunity to be part of a fast growing and ambitious company that is a market leader in their field.


Key duties of this role will include:

* Preparation of accruals and prepayments
* Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts at month end
* Management accounts preparation and other ad hoc month-end procedures
* Daily income and debtors reconciliation
* Assist with quarterly reforecast of costs
* Liaise with budget holders to support the in understanding the month end reports provided
* Assist with cash flow forecasting

The successful candidate will:

  • Be part/fully qualified ACCA/CIMA - Essential
  • Have a minimum of 3 years experience of management accounts preparation - Essential
  • Have previous knowledge of Sage Line 200 - Desirable
  • Have excellent communication skills - Essential
