We have an excellent opportunity to join a global insurance company as a Team manager within their call centre.

This well known organisation is located in close proximity to East Croydon station providing excellent transport links, based in their bright, modern offices. A competitive salary and excellent corporate benefits package is on offer for this role.

The purpose of the role is to lead, motivate and develop the team to enable the delivery of a customer centric service and experience. You will be an excellent leader, supporting and coaching your team to ensure they perform at optimum levels. You will handle incoming calls and deal with any issues that have been escalated to ensure a timely resolution. Good communication skills, both verbal and written are essential. Experience of dealing with escalated telephone complaints and all the standard duties of a call centre TM - i., staffing coverage, managing overtime and holiday, absence management, disciplinary meetings, complaint handling, performance and development.

The positions involve working on a shift basis, covering Monday to Sunday (including bank holidays). The hours are between 06 and 10pm. 35 hour week. There is also an element of being 'on-call' on a rota basis.

In order to be considered for this role you will have to have worked as a Team Leader or Team Manager within a similar call centre environment and be able to demonstrate your experience in leadership, team building and problem solving.

Salary £26,000 + benefits
