Do you hold a Welsh Degree with experience of working with children (11-18 year olds) either within a school or in a tutoring role?

Prospero teaching are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors with a specialism within Welsh for the Swansea area, this is a great way to gain experience working with young people and also a fantastic route into teaching in schools.

The role will include the supervision of whole classes under the guidance of teaching/senior staff including implementation of work programmes and positively managing student behaviour as well as assisting students' in relevant activities.

You will in the main be covering Welsh but will also be required to cover a wide range of subjects as required by the school for each assignment.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have recent experience in either Secondary Schools or tutoring roles and be resourceful and capable of encouraging students' to reach their full potential whilst maintaining the academies' successful vision.

We would welcome applications from:

*Candidates with experience in Secondary education.
*Graduates with a degree considering a career in education or students currently working towards a teaching qualification
*Welsh tutoring and Youth workers.
*FE lecturers holding a PGCE qualification
*QTS teachers who no longer want direct responsibility for planning and marking
*Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) with NVQ level 4 qualification
