Working as part of a busy team based in Hatfield, The role involves planning for the predicted sales of the various Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs), which cover grocery deliveries in major areas of the UK.

Responsibilities:

. Predicting and forecasting the volume of morning and afternoon sales using available tools, accounting for bank holidays/seasonal/weather changes or disruptions.
. Live monitoring of customer delivery slot availability, ensuring that where necessary, routes are made available to accommodate the required availability.
. Responding quickly to escalations sent through to us by the customer service team, enabling correct geo-coding of customer properties and dealing with rebooking orders where available.
. Focusing on route efficiency to help meet KPIs and avoid possible violations on delivery schedules.
. Communicating with resource planners to increase available routes if required and helping to correct for changes to routes on each customer site.
. Ensuring that reports associated with above duties are accurate and are sent to the relevant departments in time to assist with their operations.
. Use multiple Excel and Google Doc spreadsheets and Intranet pages daily, to analyse data and trends.
. Complete daily tasks to maintain future schedules for customers via the Intranet and Excel
. Monitor and Track Customer Demand throughout the day and make adjustments if necessary.
. Communicate effectively with people in all levels of the business
. Demonstrate the ability to achieve the most cost effective delivery of groceries
. Highlight problem areas and provide solutions

Skills and Knowledge

. Analytical mind, capable of resolving any issues in an effective manner
. Good verbal/written communication skills
. Intermediate/advanced excel skills
. Comfortable working under pressure while completing multiple tasks
. Comfortable with working with large amounts of data
