The successful candidate will join us on a part time, permanent position working 16 hours per week flexible working  and will receive an hourly rate of £9.50 - £10.00 per hour

We are looking for a Male Support Worker to become part of our growing, professional team, on a part-time basis.

About the role

We are looking for a part-time Male Support Worker to join a team working for a 31-year-old gentleman who has an Acquired Brain Injury following an accident at work.  The client lives with his partner in the Pontefract area and has one support worker already in place.  A further Support Worker is required to provide support for 16 hours per week including weekdays, evenings and weekends plus annual leave/sickness cover. 

Applicants will be required to assist the client with all elements of daily living, including involving client in the community and hobbies, and support the client to plan and engage in leisure pursuits and activities. He particularly enjoys attending the gym and playing snooker.

The Client does not require assistance with his Personal Care.

What we’re looking for in our Male Support Worker

Applicants require an empathetic & dynamic approach with the ability to promote and encourage daily routine and engage therapies.

Driver with UK Driving Licence essential.
