We are seeking a communications professional to help churches grow by equipping them to engage confidently with their communities through digital and social media.

The role is a new three-year post that is part of the Communications function of the diocese. It will transform parish outreach by helping churches create communications strategies that deliver on their mission action plans.

Drawing on diocesan brand values and the visual identity of ‘Church for a different world’, the post holder will encourage churches to be outward looking and proactive. S/he will provide advice and training and give parishes the skills, confidence and tools to engage better with existing members, local networks and neighbours.

The post holder will also support diocesan communications by providing content, updating the website and social media channels and monitoring analytics.
