The Role
The Sales Administrator role would be based in the main Sales office in a busy, fast paced environment!

Key Skills required:
- Accuracy on entering of customer data. i. Orders
- Good telephone etiquette
- Directing Customer Service issues to the correct channels
- Rapport Building with clients via the phone to increase loyalty and spend
- Your commitment to deliver outstanding quality & results that exceed client expectations
- To be a motivated dedicated flexible individual
- To be able to conduct proactive telephone calls to increase client spend & order value, through selling of offers
- To work well as part of the team & support the team effort to achieve sales targets
- Accountability to Sales Management and Directors
- Honesty, loyalty & integrity will be key requirements
- Organisation and prioritisation skills to ensure customers' needs are met
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Upselling products on the phone to increase order value

Main Responsibilities, tasks & duties:
- Taking Customer Orders Via the Telephone, Email, and Fax from Area Sales Representatives
- Processing orders with 100% accuracy onto our ERP platform (Orderwise) then sending out customer order acknowledgments confirming delivery dates
- Keeping customers informed at every point if an issue arises or delivery dates change
- Dealing with customer enquiries in a timely manner, quoting if necessary or passing through to Area Sales Representatives
- Responding to Customer requests where applicable or directing to the correct department in a timely manner
- Proactive customer calling to maximise monthly spend
- Proactive selling of product offers and monthly deals to increase customer spend and order value
- Chasing couriers or suppliers where needed to ensure customer needs are met
- Upselling to customers over the phone on specific offers or to increase order value
- Administering customer pricing ongoing in the system to ensure there are minimal price queries and making sure these are kept as up to date as possible
- Supporting Area Sales managers to win new business wherever required with sending out samples etc
- Setting up of new customer accounts in OrderWise where required
- Processing card payments for Proforma accounts
Ensuring the Sales inbox is maintained and always up to date
- Servicing customers/Suppliers visiting reception or collection point
- Processing of consignment stock orders.
- Assisting directors with admin work where required on specific projects
- To assist the team at trade events/shows where required

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
