This company is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager - Sponsorship Sales for their London offices to sell sponsorship packages internationally. The candidate will join a successful conference team to strengthen their portfolio working across their International Conferences. They work across an International portfolio of events in the USA, Africa, Europe and Asia, which means there is an opportunity for you to travel. They work in collaboration with their customers to help their businesses thrive and create a sustainable solar future on a global scale.

The Company

Main duties and responsibilities:
- Maximising revenue through sponsorship sales
- Developing relationship with decision makers in order to do business and build accounts
- Identifying and securing new customers who can be developed into major accounts
- Achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets
- Achieving and exceeding daily KPI's
- Managing a sales pipeline document for reporting purposes
- Forecasting business accurately on a weekly and monthly basis
- Gathering product and company feedback from clients and prospects

The successful applicant will have:
- A solid and proven background in Conferences (Sponsorship sales experience, minimum 3 years)
- Proven track record of winning new business and successfully account managing existing clients.
- Able to sell on concept and provide a consultative sales approach.

Desirable:
- Experience with CRM
- Knowledge of SPIN or other relevant sales theory
- Language skills
