Financial Controller - Accountant/Accounting Technician
We are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller to manage all general accounting operations for a large world renowned automotive brand . Including, reconciliation of ledger and month-end closing activities along with implementing the introduction of SAP into the business.
Ideal location - Luton, Watford, St Albans, Hatfield, Dunstable, Hemel Hempstead, Stevenage, Harlow, Welwyn Garden City
Salary - Circa GBP40,000 per annum + Pension + Benefits
Our Client
Our client is a leading brand that manufactures world class lubricants specifically designed to cater for the demanding needs of automotive workshops that service the transportation markets , including agricultural & commercial vehicle, coach & bus applications through to traditional automotive aftermarket workshops and respective dealer networks .
The Role
The role of Financial Controller will focus heavily on managing general accounting activities including, coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts & report variances. As the Financial Controller you will offer support to other functions of the business such as Sales and Marketing in business analysis and financial evaluation. In addition, you will ensure quality control over financial transactions & reporting in line with IFRS and UK GAAP guidelines whilst implementing SAP into the business infrastructure.
The Candidate
Our ideal candidate will come from a Finance background . You will also possess in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and procedures including SAP. In addition, you will also have experience with creating financial statements accompanied by excellent accounting software user and administration skills accompanied with an advanced degree in accounting or AAT final level.
