There's a critical lack of affordable housing and our client knows there's no quick solution. There plan is to use their financial strength and development expertise to build more new homes than ever and maintain them to a high standard.

They are currently looking for an experienced construction professional to join their team as a Project Surveyor. This post will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of strategic and planned maintenance projects and will manage specialist project work to include all aspects of surveying.

You will lead on all areas related to planning applications for major works programmes and will manage contractors and overall performance standards. You will be involved in preparing specifications, arranging drawings and contract administration through to the completion of works. It will also be your responsibility to ensure compliance with government standards, regulations, health and safety, and best practice.

The successful candidate will be educated to HNC/D level (or equivalent) and will have professional experience of construction and/or surveying. Ideally you will possess a relevant construction qualification such as RIBA, RICS, MCIOB and will have the ability to undertake RdSap or EPC energy audits.

Our client is looking for a strong Project Manager with knowledge of IT based Asset Management systems or similar. Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
