Operational Risk Manager
East Midlands
£40000 - £55000 per annum + packages
Client is a UK leading Financial Services Organisation and are looking for a Risk Manager to strengthen the Risk function by contributing to the current Risk framework, Risk appetite and strategy.
In this role you will:
* Be the single point of contact for business area, providing independent 1st & 2nd line review and challenge in order to identify control gaps and working with risk and control owners to deliver remedial actions.
* Ensure that business area processes are compliant with all Group Risk Management Policies and Standards.
* Work with senior leaders and our front line team to create a Governance structure that reflects departmental process architecture - including design and implementation of insightful Risk and Governance Reporting.
* Work with process owners to ensure that where risks / issues are identified the control site is appropriately reviewed and any changes made.
