We are recruiting for a data and customer insight specialist.  The right person will have technical experience and be able to extract data and deliver actionable consumer insights to drive strategy. This is a fantastic position for an ambitious and driven Insight Manager who is looking to develop and grow.

This role will involve:

  • developing a detailed understanding of our existing database
  • extracting, preparing and analysing large data sets for statistical evaluation
  • being passionate about customer insight and being able to demonstrate and convey a thorough understanding of the customers; their behaviours and, characteristics
  • delivering actionable insights based on multiple sources and present clear insights to key stakeholders
  • applying the most appropriate statistical techniques to meet the business objectives for the project (such as segmentation, propensity modelling, regression analysis etc.)

What you need

  • Proven track record in the development and presentation of impactful insight using multiple sources, which have driven strategic thinking and business change
  • Expert analytics background and data manipulation skills through tools like Microsoft Excel
  • Experience of qualitative and quantitative data research methods
  • Comfortable with working with large data sets from multiple sources
  • First class data manipulation and analytical skills
  • Solid knowledge of data warehouse structures and SQL
  • Segmentation and modelling – preferential
  • Excellent knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce – preferential
  • Working knowledge of Data Protection Act 1998 and the incoming GDPR legislation
  • Outstanding verbal, report writing, spread sheet and presentation communication skills
