PAT Testing (Portable Appliance Testing) Engineer/ Trainee – Eastleigh – £25,000 per Annum – Full Time, Permanent

Covering all aspects of the electrical testing market with specific focus on Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), Periodic Fixed Wire Testing and Inspections, Thermal Imaging and Emergency Light testing, our client has enjoyed continued growth by providing its clients with high quality tailored solutions and an excellent service.

The Role:

Our client is now looking for a professional, hard-working and enthusiastic PAT Tester/ trainee. The successful individual will be required to service their client’s PAT Testing requirements across the South of England. Salary is made up of basic salary and performance related pay.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Carry out PAT Testing according to IEE guidelines
• To have effective customer relation skills to deliver high quality service levels to clients
• Effective communication with internal senior management
• To work on your own or within a team
• Day to day management of client’s testing requirements
• Health & Safety paperwork

Experience/Skills (essential):

• Being a hard worker, motivated, proactive and enthusiastic
• A “can-do” attitude to everyday challenges
• Disciplined and methodical approach to work
• C&G 2377 or equivalent (Full training available for the right candidate)
• Experience in high volume PAT Testing (Preferred)
• Knowledge of latest In-service Inspection & Testing guidelines (Preferred)
• Full Driving License
• Flexible working hours (days and evenings)

Main Area of Works

Ideally the successful candidate will be based in RG, SL, HP & GU postcodes.
