Build Engineer
This is an exciting time to join Virgin Media, we've shaken things up in the telecommunications industry and really pushed boundaries. To support our growth we are further adding to our Build team to enable us to be bigger and stronger??????.
In the role of a Build Engineer you will play a critical role in supporting our Network Build programme and its ever moving parts. We are looking for someone to Leads and coordinates compliance of works / projects providing expertise in the design, technical specifications and best practice transfer in support of Civils works adhering to contractual, legislative, specification and budgetary requirements.
You will be tasked with assisting with acting as an intermediary between Senior Build Engineers/Managers, head office teams and the Build teams, with regards to design, technical specifications and budgetary requirements of civils works. You will be responsible for ensuring all projects are on schedule, working collaboratively with local authorities, utilities and other external stakeholders such as utilities and police.
It is essential that you have excellent interpersonal skills, as well as strong commercial acumen and operational awareness. You will have proven project management experience within a civils environment, with knowledge of NRSWA and other statutory streetwork requirements. Telco experience desirable.
