Are you a HR Advisor looking for a more challenging and truly generalist role where you can make a difference?

Our client is a dynamic and ambitious 18,000 unit Housing Association based in Bedford and operating throughout the Oxford to Cambridge growth corridor. The organisation employs 400 people, has an annual turnover in excess of £120m and a development programme that will see it build around 3,000 new homes over the next five years making it one of the top 25 of developing associations.

They are seeking an HR professional to join their Human Resources team in Bedford.
As HR Advisor you will report to the HR Manager to proactively support several departments within the organisation and influence a modern approach to the handling of people related issues.

In this key varied role you will manage employee relation cases, support with recruitment, build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships and support wider HR people strategy projects.

Other duties will include providing advice and support on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with employment law. You will also collectively work with the HR team to further enhance, modernise and promote HR processes and maximise HR system functionality for the benefit of all business users.

The successful candidate must be CIPD qualified at level 5 or studying for the qualification, essentially you will also have continuous professional development within a HR environment and will be confident working with HR systems. A proven track record of ER experience with all types and levels of complexity of ER cases is required. You must also have a strong solid generalist HR knowledge, including recruitment, administration and end to end HR processes, as well as strong stakeholder management, customer service and influencing skills. Ideally you will have private sector experience within a small to medium size organisation.
