Vision for Education are currently working with an SEN Specialist School in Gosforth who are looking for an SEND (ASC) Key Stage 2 Teacher.
Applicants will ideally have experience of working with Primary and/or Secondary (KS1, KS2, KS3 & KS4) students who have Special Education Needs including Autism, SLD and PMLD.
Personality is paramount and having a positive, calming, patient and empathetic attitude is required to achieve the high results expected.
To be considered for the role you must:
* Have Qualified Teacher Status or the equivalent
* The ideal applicant will have previous experience within an SEN environment and be a positive, empathetic and responsible individual.
* Current DBS is beneficial (Children and Vulnerable Adults) and it be registered on the online update service. Application can be completed in branch.
* Applicants must be available 5 days a week have a full driving license
* Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and meet all national safeguarding criteria.
