Our Corby client is looking to recruit an experienced order processor on a permanent basis to organise and control the effective processing of customer orders to the highest standard.

Specific Responsibilities

1. To ensure the accurate, efficient and cost effective processing of
orders.

2. To report the efficiency and accuracy of order processing.

3. To ensure the checking of orders through to the Technical Checker
prior to acknowledgement.

4. To ensure quick and efficient responses to all customer enquiries.

5. To assist the Administration Manager to check and order non-standard
items.

6. To ensure effective liaison with the Operations and Finance functions
and throughout the Sales and Marketing department.

7. To ensure that all acknowledgements are sent out within 24 hours to
48 hours of receipt of a clean order.

8. To ensure that production paperwork is available five working days
before despatch.

The successful candidate will ideally be from a construction background, technically minded, with a keen eye and excellent attention to detail. A strong mathematical skill set, with the ability to equate measurements.

As some of the clients' orders are emailed drawings from customers, you would need to be able to read and understand what is required (experience of reading technical drawings would be an advantage).

You will be confident with learning new IT systems as the client uses a bespoke ordering system.

A good emphasis on customer service, and a confident telephone manner when speaking to customers.
