Hays Accountancy & Finance are exclusively recruiting for a full time temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk. This temporary Purchase Ledger position within a market leading procurement business is for a minimum of 3 months. Ideally suited to a highly experienced candidate who has the ability to process large volumes of transactions as well as hit stringent deadlines. The duties for this temporary Purchase Ledger vacancy include:

• Process invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
• Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
• Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
• Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries
• Process business expense returns
• Cashbook and petty cash cheques
• Processing BACS payments and preparing cheques

You will need to be accurate with data coding, customer driven with the ability to create rapport from little customer contact. This fantastic opportunity is paying GBP9-10 p/hour with the possibility of long term extensions on a full time basis.
