Primary Maths Specialist TA - South Liverpool Maths Specialist Teaching Assistant & Maths Intervention & Booster TA job South Liverpool
We are working with both Primary schools in the area, looking for a Maths Specialist Teaching Assistant to work with small groups and 1:1 supporting Maths.

The role would include supporting KS1, & KS2 with additional booster groups, preparing for SATs
- To support a broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for pupils, incorporating the National Curriculum requirements and in line with the curriculum polices of the school.

-To help support a positive, and conducive and safe learning environment, encouraging high standards in punctuality, presentation of work and relationships

Your new role
You will follow a timetable of targeted intervention working with students who need additional support in school with Maths & Numeracy to help with their knowledge and understanding of Maths. Working with teaching staff you will revise and revisit areas of the curriculum they find more difficult.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be ideally a Maths Specialist or have a sound understanding of the Maths curriculum but other subjects will be considered. Most importantly you need to be passionate about supporting pupil progress, and be able to communicate Maths methodology skills effectively for example. You will need to have similar experience supporting secondary aged students in Maths either in a school or tuition setting for a minimum of 3-6 months in the past 2 years. You will be confident engaging students in an interesting and imaginative way, be flexible and a team player.
