Planning Manager needed for new role with South Somerset based FMCG business

South Somerset based FMCG manufacturer seeks experienced Planning Manager to manage the manufacturing operations of the business.

Your new role

Your new role as Planning Manager will see you undertake a role that ensures production is maintained at optimum levels. You will also be tasked with improving the operations and processes to maximise the production potential by analysing data and making appropriate changes.

Your duties will include:

• Capacity Planning
• Forecasting
• Regular review of production processes
• Targeting wastage minimisation
• Maintaining OTIF levels
• Liaising with logistics departments for goods outwards
• Producing plans for future improvement

What you'll need to succeed

To be chosen for the position you must possess previous planning experience in a FMCG environment. You must also be an effective communicator, with strong analytical skills and the ability to strategise and promote change effectively.
