LGV Mechanic / MOT Tester
LGV Mechanic/MOT Tester required due to expansion and for immediate start
Salary - Depending on experience (depending on training, type of license held, shift patterns etc...)
Duties -
The suitable candidate will be joining a company that supplies a comprehensive range of commercial vehicles to operators and companies in the UK. The successful candidate will ideally hold an industry recognised qualification and have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
Duties to include:
* Carry out preventative maintenance and servicing
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects on all vehicles, replacing parts as and when necessary in line with Company and Legislative requirements
* MOT Preparation and Inspection (Class 4 & 7 MOT tester would be preferred but not essential)
* Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation to a high standard
Ideally you will also have your own tools and be able to demonstrate excellent customer liaison whilst always being able to work on your own initiative.
Due to the use of company vehicles, a FULL driving license is required
