Graduate/ Site Engineer

Salary: GBP25,000 - 30,000 per annum + Holiday pay, Pension and a Company Car

Location: Kingswood, Tadworth

My client a well-respected building and construction company are in the market for a Site engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitable candidate to further their career, while acquiring valuable industry experience along the way.

You will be required to assist the Site Engineer with overall contracts and setting out duties. You will also be expected to learn and adopt the site manager position over a period of time.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate site setting out activities to satisfy standards of contract programme requirements
• Ensuring company procedures are thoroughly adopted throughout the setting out process, and acting as the point of communication between head office and site staff
• Effective planning to ensure that most effective use of resource, methods and controls are engaged
• Taking individual accountability to ensuring that project goals are met
• Read site plans and facility drawings ensuring all work is set out and completed in compliance with the approved design drawings
• Oversee quality control, ensuring all work is carried out to highest industry standards, and strictly enforce work permit system and conditions on site.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering(or similar background)
• Minimum 12 months site experience
• Excellent setting out skills
• CSCS card
• Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office
• Full U.K. driving license
• Must be fully dependable, dedicated, and able to work on own initiative
