Senior Java Developer Required

Do you want to join an industry leader in the provision of software solutions to Veterinary Practices with an accomplished history of 24 years?
An excellent opportunity to join a well-established company providing software to the Veterinary industry. Working as part of the Development team, the role requires successful delivery of web applications, 3rd party integrations, and the ability to solve complex problems in a busy agile environment.
The job will be based in our Godalming offices, but may involve travel to Leeds or Isle of Man offices occasionally.
Good communication skills and ability to be forward thinking and self-motivated are essential.
Essential Skills/experience required:
Core Java 5+ experience.
Middle-tier development experience including either JEE (Java Enterprise Experience) or the Spring Framework.
Object-oriented Design (OOD) experience
SQL development experience, good knowledge of Tsql
Test driven development Junit/Mockito/Arquillian
RESTful web services
Desirable Skills:
MVC and UI toolset experience (GWT, AngularJS, React, Bootstrap, Spring …)
Automated Testing (Selenium or similar)
Experience of deploying scalable software solutions
Experienced with Microsoft SQL Server
JBoss 7+
Experience with CI tools Maven/Jenkins/Octopus
Source control (SVN or similar)
Jasper Reports
JIRA / Confluence
Load Testing (JMeter or similar)
