A leading global recruitment company in Glasgow are seeking a SUPPORT SERVICES ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT to join their team. If you can demonstrate experience of assisting with monthly accounts and enjoy collaborative working,, then you could be the SUPPORT SERVICES ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT were looking for.
What will you be doing?
As a SUPPORT SERVICES ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT youll act as main line support for the Support Costs Financial Accountant whilst maintaining a strong relationship with the Support Business Partner based in the London head office. The Assistant Cost Accountant role is key when closing the monthly accounts, so you will have the ability to ensure that all costs are recorded correctly, in line with the agreed monthly timetable.
What skills/experience should you have?
Good commercial awareness
Good knowledge of financial and management reporting preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Good analytical skills with the ability to explain complex financial matters clearly and concisely;
Good MS Office experience necessary (VLOOKUPS, SUMIF, Pivot Tables) with an excellent standard of formatting
A good working knowledge of financial systems (with previous experience of SAP, BW & Business Objects preferred).
Resourceful with good attention to detail
Ability to prioritise workloads with minimal supervision
