Our client an Agency based in Leicester are looking to add a CAD Detailer /Designer to their team.
The role of the CAD Detailer /Designer would suit a middle weight looking to be part of a team. The role forms part of the multi-talented designers and requires an individual to support the design process and projects within the studio.
You would be responsible for the creation of detailed technical CAD drawings suitable for production. AutoCAD is essential for this role. Revit would be ideal but is not essential, obviously could be useful if your knowledge may come from your experience of retail and exhibitions where you are designing structures of great diversity.
A knowledge of processes and manufacturing methods in a variety of materials would be essential to the role.
Skills
Strong Creative Design Skills
AutoCAD and REVIT essential
Knowledge of Revit would be a big advantage
Sketch-up and a 3D ability would be an advantage
Be willing and able to develop personal skills in line with company direction
Have an interest in the exhibition and heritage design
Act as a problem solver
Produce accurate and high quality work
You would be part of a growing expanding team of designers with diverse skills
