Role: Caseworker
Location: Leeds
Salary: 22,000 - GBP24,000
We are currently recruiting for a number of Case Workers to support the delivery of a national provision, designed to help unemployed disabled adults who are furthest away from the labour market into employment or onto mainstream provision. Developing an intensive, holistic approach and specialised employability support through a 'Circle of Support', customised to meet the needs of the individual.
Role Summary: A performance driven role in an exciting and developing industry, the Caseworker will utilise all their skills and innovation to motivate, advise, encourage, train, support and track our participants through their journey into work and beyond. The Caseworker must be adaptable to change and working towards continuous improvement in quality and performance. A multi-site role, this calls for good team work with all the teams in the centres and will require the need for travel and flexibility. The attainment of personal and team targets is essential in the role.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Provide 1:1 support sessions for participants
- Develop engaging relations between the participant and the Circle of Support model
- Delivery of an assessment to underpin the participants ISP (Individual Support Plan)
- Co-ordinating of the Circle of Support, to support the participant in developing their skills and overcoming their barriers
- Regular caseload conferencing to review the participants progression within the Circle of Support
- Liaison and relationship building with the Activity Co-ordinator and the Circle of Support
- Assisting customers in building their CV, Job Specification and Cover Letter Writing
- Job brokering and reverse job marketing with all participants
- Smart and effective caseload management
- Varied field work and outreach working
- Delivery of performance targets and compliance of standards to meet contract requirements

Person Specification
Essential
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience/training in working with people with disabilities to overcome their barriers and into employment
- Experience in meeting and exceeding targets
- Flexibility and adaptability to change
- Innovation and ideas delivery individually and in staff forums
- Experience in employer engagement and reverse marketing
- Highly motivated individual
- Confident in use of MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook
- Excellent organisational skills and Attention to detail
- Car owner with full and clean driving licence with business insurance cover
- Knowledge of Safeguarding Processes
Desirable
- Experience of DWP/JCP procedures and processes
- Qualification in Advice and Guidance Level 6 Qualification in ERS Level 3 or working toward
