Thames Valley Collaboration Programme Support – Fixed term until March 2020
Salary: £24,964 - £29,323 per annum
Location – Service Headquarters, Calcot, Reading

An excellent opportunity has arisen within Royal Berkshire Fire & Rescue Service for a Thames Valley Collaboration Programme Support role to join the team. You will be responsible for the delivery of an effective Collaboration Programme Office for the Thames Valley FRS supporting the planning, delivery and evaluation of a range of projects and tasks and provision of project and programme management support. You will be responsible for direct liaison with the three programme Leads from Oxfordshire Fire & Rescue, Royal Berkshire Fire & Rescue and Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Fire & Rescue and any other relevant partner agencies and key stakeholders.
The key focus of this role is:
- Support the cross service collaboration and the successful delivery of specific projects, events and visits as required in liaison with Thames Valley Fire & Rescue services, partner agencies and key stakeholders
- Provision of support to the Programme Leads across the three services, the Board and project managers, including the preparation of agendas, reporting and recording of minutes and monitoring of actions
- Collation and maintenance of a reporting schedule to ensure reports are completed and pproved in a timely manner for the Strategic Boards
- Contribute to the maintenance and development of a range of business processes, procedures and systems to support the collaboration programme
- Co-ordinate, collate and analyse responses to consultations and produce summary reports/action plans
- Undertake analysis and research on specific issues
