Internal Business Development Executive

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Executive to join one of the UK's leading suppliers of personal care and medical products. The role is to provide high quality sales support to the Director of Business Development. You will be based at Nexon’s high quality offices situated in the village of Nettleham near Lincoln.

You will be responsible for delivering qualified first appointments for the company’s external BDMs through a process of engagement, fact finding and qualifying business plans and objectives for prospect accounts.

Responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling appointments, preparing for appointments and presentations and assisting with post appointment follow-up activity.
  • To support BDM in providing qualified first appointments to achieve new business.
  • Responsible for updating Salesforce CRM to record activity, conversations and KPI's. Keeping records of BDM meetings on CRM.
  • Ensure accurate and robust forecasting of your appointment pipeline.
  • Be involved in proactive lead generation alongside marketing
  • Keeping the BDM pipeline up to date and accurate
  • Follow up activities, preparation of quotes, proposals and presentations generated from appointments by the external BDMs.
  • Create pre-appointment briefs and manage diary of BDM
  • Generating and revising quotes for customers based on their requirements and following these up by telephone and email within a reasonable time frame to close the sale
  • Providing a professional, understanding and helpful service to current or potential customers to ensure a fruitful ongoing relationship
  • Attend joint meetings with prospects and customers with the external BDM as required

The Successful Applicant:

  • We are looking for positive, goal driven, hungry motivated sales professionals!
  • Experience in B2B sales business development, and/or experience in securing high level appointments and sales administrative duties
  • Competent in Microsoft office including Excel, Powerpoint and Word
  • Ideally with experience in CRM (salesforce)
  • Ability to structure and control a telephone call
  • Committed, with a track record of over achieving
  • Well organised, able to manage time well
