Crèche Manager - Experienced

London's first co-working space with childcare facilities for children under two, is opening in Farringdon Spring 2018. They are looking for an experienced Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of this exciting new crèche. It will be a fully functional, Ofsted-Registered crèche that offers fun, engaging and educational childcare to working parents.

As a company they have ambitious growth plans and hope to open 2 or 3 more premises in Central London within the next 3 years. They are already in discussions for their second, even larger, location! This combined with a commitment to invest in the continual professional development and training of the successful applicant, makes this an opportunity not to be missed!

Main responsibilities include:

- Day-to-day running of the creche including staff rotas and activity planning
- Key person reporting to parents and Ofsted
- Operational duties including ensuring the space meets all relevant health and safety objectives
- Working with Ofsted and founding partners on EYFS curriculum for children
- Keeping accurate records of children, activities and events as per Ofsted requirements

Essential Skills

- At lease 4 years' experience in a crèche or nursery facility with at least 2 years managerial experience.
- A minimum qualification of Level 4 NVQ in Childcare
- An extensive knowledge and passion for child development and education
- The knowledge and ability to design, create and deliver an engaging and enriching programme of activities to encourage outstanding development of the children using the crèche
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills
- Ability to lead a team of people with passion and understanding
