Technical Author & Trainer

Recruiting a Technical Author & Trainer for a world-leading communications technology provider based in Berkshire, UK. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical writing for software documentation in a Technical Author role.

Your main responsibility would be to manage a range of technical writing projects, liaising with and driving the appropriate technical and business project stakeholders to converge all the relevant information into documentation. You will also be expected to organise and run engaging training sessions for both internal and external audiences in the UK and abroad.

Beside excellent written and verbal communication skills you must have a strong educational background. Although part of this role is performing training, a strong Technical Author background is essential with willingness to perform training. It would be beneficial if you have a good level of skills in using RoboHelp, Microsoft Office Applications and Adobe Acrobat. Also a familiarity with the web technologies: HTML, XML, Flash and JavaScript would be desirable.
