LOCATION: Milton Keynes - Field based covering UK
JOB TITLE: Field Service Engineer
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP35,000+ depending on experience + fully expensed vehicle + mobile phone
WORKING HOURS: Approx. 45 hours per week - Must be flexible to suit business needs

THE COMPANY: Our client, established in 1970, is a family run company that import, sell, install and commission high quality, reliable and affordable CNC machinery for both metal cutting and general fabrication purposes.

THE ROLE: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer with experience on CNC machinery. The purpose of the position is to service machinery to a high standard, and to provide a professional maintenance and repair service to customers.

You will plan your route from pre-booked appointments and visit customers throughout the UK. You will also complete all paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities for the Field Service Engineer's role to include:-

Visiting customers throughout the UK
Fault finding
Problem solving
Installations
Services
Repairs

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will have a knowledge of CNC machines and the maintenance and repair of CNC machines and tools. You will have a smart and professional appearance and have the ability to communicate with customers on all levels. You will be trustworthy, reliable and have a passion to learn new skills and expand on your current knowledge.

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Service Field Engineer's role:-

Apprentice trained in a relevant discipline or at least 3 years experience in a similar role
Must be able to travel and work throughout the UK
Competent IT user
Full driving licence (Essential)
Knowledge of Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain, Siemens & Cybelec controls an advantage
