The Company has been established for 17 years and is the UK distributor of XRF analysers based in the countryside close to Basingstoke and Winchester.

They are looking for a Trainee Customer Service Engineer to join a busy Service team based in the countryside near Basingstoke and Winchester. As a trainee you will have the opportunity to learn about their instruments from their operation through to their general repair, maintenance and servicing. All Customer Service Engineers liaise with customers on a daily basis to keep them notified of progress and to answer technical questions. Other tasks will include:

1. Goods Inwards – booking in instruments, updating the database and arranging collections from customers
2. Goods Outwards – packaging and shipping, creation of delivery notes and services reports
3. Issuing quotations

To be considered for the position candidates will have a relevant BTEC diploma combined with GCSE including English, Maths and a Science. With excellent communication skills both verbally and written and attention to detail you will enjoy working as part of a team. A smart disposition is also required. Due to location all applicants will require their own transport.
